5 Easy Steps
Knight Writer ghostwriter and editing service has been writing, editing and publishing books for more than 20 years. We are a small group of professional, published, award winning writers and editors who also ghostwrite books for our clients. A “ghost” writer is a professional writer for hire who helps inexperienced authors write and edit their books, brochures, website copy, etc.
We realize that most of those who contact us about writing a book have never had any experience in the writing profession, and don’t even know the right questions to ask us.
As a result of our decades of writing books for our clients, we have developed an easy to understand 5 Step Process.
Step 1 — SCHEDULE
Once we have agreed to write your book, we set up a schedule when we can begin the process of collecting information for your book. We attempt to remain flexible in our schedule for your convenience.
Step 2 –INTERVIEWS
On the day we’ve have scheduled the interviews–with you, or those you designate–we come to you or you come to us, and we sit down with you for 2 or 3 days and record a series of interviews with you.
Step 3 –WRITING
After the interviews are completed, we have them transcribed and begin the writing process.
Step 4 –REVIEW
When we have completed the first draft of your manuscript, we provide it to you for your review, corrections, updates, and input. You then return it to us.
Step 5 –DELIVERY
After we’ve had a chance to review your suggestions and corrections to the first draft, we rewrite the manuscript to reflect those changes. Then we deliver your manuscript to you. If you feel it is finished, we are done. If you have additional corrections and suggestions, we will rewrite it again, until your are satisfied.
